A downloadable game for Windows

A small ball wakes up lost in an endless desert with no memory of how it got there. Roll through a series of trials where the ball physically grows older. Each stage of life changes how the ball moves, what it can do, and how the world treats it. The desert itself is built from simple, dreamlike geometry — cubes, spheres, cylinders — as if the world is unfinished, or as if it exists only in the ball's own imagination as a metaphor for a life being lived.

Install instructions

Here is the simple step-by-step process for getting started on your PC:

  1. Locate the "Download" Button: Go to the "Roll Home" game page while logged into your Itch account (or access the unique download link from your purchase receipt email).
  2. Select Your Operating System:
    • Find the file labeled RollHome_Installer_PC.zip. (The approximate file size is 100MB).
  3. Download and Extract: Save the .zip file to your preferred location. Once the download is complete, right-click the file and select "Extract All..."
  4. Launch the Game: Navigate into the extracted folder. Double-click the file named RollHome.exe. The game will launch in a default, full-screen window (Settings can be adjusted in the pause menu).
